Mazer Discount Home Centers is unique because of the way we buy and the great variety we offer. We have two centers (Homewood and Birmingham) and five departments: Furniture (Homewood only), Appliances, Building Supplies (Birmingham only), Kitchen & Bath, and Flooring. We buy regular, running line items from many suppliers for our core departments, plus our buyers search all over the country for closeouts, overstocks, insurance salvage, bankruptcies and other distressed sources. Each of our departments offers a huge selection and excellent service. Regular Stock, Closeouts, and Scratch & Dent items are all displayed side by side with the appropriate sales tag, where the color represents savings (Green is up to 20% off, Pink up to 50% off, and Yellow up to 75% off). And about half the merchandise in our showrooms is constantly changing, which our customers find fun and exciting.
